It only occurs when some of the vertices are beyond the frustum (which
doesn't happen in GeomTest AFIAK). It seems worse as the FOV gets
higher, but try this model in Quesa Model Viewer:

Zoom right in and rotate till some vertices should pop out of place -
if they don't, I may have compile problems. There seems to be some
sorting problems as well, though these two issues may be related.
