After a little research, I found that 3DPro 3.6 was the last version to do 3DMF. I reinstalled it alongside 3.9, and I use it successfully for models for RB3DSpace etc.

Do your purchase 3.9?
Perhaps they would shuffle you a 3.6 version as well?
