Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..how can one get so wrong about two very *INDIVIDUAL* styles of Architecture? Mier, I ask you how do you suppose they arrived at this conclusion? Sure, they both use geometrical shapes within there work. One very complex geometry (way too complex in my opinion) and the other a far more harmonious use of it (simplicity and purity maintained in form) The only comparison I could draw was the Surface of the building. Veture in to what lies beyond (scratch below the surface) take a virtual walk around the interior and you are met with not Miers' design phylosophy but the Great I M pei!
What's your favourite pie building SS and anyone else for that matter?
Don't you just love his stairs?
