Perhaps show a plan of the site, how your design interplays with the location. This is perhaps more important than the building itself. Design of the building will then follow the design you are intending for the site as a whole. Perhaps that is what the judges want to see. Show us this too?

I mean, a building can look nice standing on an island in the middle of the ocean. But a remarkable building negotiates with it's location, environment, surroundings. That is why we are designing buildings in a location, not objects to be held and carried in the hand (well, some of us are doing that too ;-)
