Hi this is my first post on this site. I got into architecture & urban design/planning, playing SimCity to be honest (go on, laugh). It fired me up a bit, I've been doin some reading and discussions this year and I thought I'd post a small project I'm working on at the moment. I design them for use in the game but with a mind to keep them also as 'real designs' - drawing out floorplans etc as well as just exterior aesthetics. This is of a Solar House - the name coming from the sunbathing balconette, glass attic room (which may be opened up fully & used for skygazing at night), and also the fact that it will be solar powered completely I'm looking into the possibility of another environmental factor of something similar to biomass being included. This is just the first sketch I made of it, I will post more soon.

there are a few others at my site below..if anyone has any comments or suggestions I'd like to have it, I wonder what the various people have to say or what their thoughts are on the subject of renewable energy housing - and the style of it too
