roof details -Ma'aloula

the following 4 photos are taken also by me,they shows the traditional skeleton construction used to support the roof slab(made up of reeds,joists,and beams that support the heavy earth roof(at least 500kg/sq.m).
some of the photos shows the roof that top the narrow interlocked network of allies.
i will try to send the first link,and in case it doesn't work,you have to search for then you have to navigate to reach (Ma'aloula),that is in case you are interisted in the first place :-)
