Very perceptive of you, the similarities are the conections of the otherwise seperate complexes, and structures, witch i believe would be a great solution to many of our own urban development problems (the boston air rights on the first page of architecture week for one)the arches provide for great support and the connection of the otherwise sepperate communities, also provideing for additional living space in a greatly needed space that is now just wasted, left empty. Imagine how much more could be produced if we practiced this more within our own cities.
