This is an interior image of Denver International Airport. The credit on the by-line for this building goes to Fentress Bradburn Architects of Denver. There is some controversy over this credit since FBA took over a project begun by Perez Architects from 'I don't know where'. FBA basically added a large tensile structure.
Anyway, I find that the main space is evocotive of the great European train stations of the industrial era. I get to use this airport on occasion, and I always feel a sence of awe and grandeur when I pass through this main space.
The project was completed about two years before it was actually opened because of an infamous problem with the baggage system.
Post your thoughts about this project, especially if you have used the facility.
