I was assigned to NSA and worked out of the I.G farben building from 1967 until March of 1969. Does anyone remember the Paternoster??..I attempt to explain to peple how it worked, but hard for some people to grasp!. I seem to remember part of the I.G Farben building burning in either late '68 or early '69..I heard that quite a few records were destroyed. I think it may have been in the Finance area. My barracks area was in the old Gutluet Kaserne area. Great memoriesof a fantastic little restaraunt accross the street from the kaserne..Served the best Schnitzel and kartoffel salat..Remember sitting there for many hours reading and drinking tea and smoking a horrible number of cigarettes. Dont know if Dave Wilhelm(kaiser)or
Jim Belmonte or any of the guys from the Old ASA group assigned to NSA will get this. but if so..greetings!..It's been a lot of years...Cheez
