Hi
I enjoyed this tread as it point to a few very important issues, and I want to say that you are quite right.
The visual understanding about calculations and the danger in blind trust soon show with modern computing tools. It is not the computer or the program that make the nice designs, but the need for the computer or any computing tool .
Now I know your attitude are more positive than when I join with my complain about architects that use "new-tech" as if that in itself shuld garentie better houses and nicer inviroments, and as you know my complain are about the Lego mind and lack of critics combined with the social aspects , that leave artists just as they allway's were seen ,in battle with the established circles ; they need you ,and you know why. _This_ is the true visions that nothing realy changed, you can point to a tool that you know is what is needed and you know what others fail not knowing this tool or not mastering is shuld I proberly say. But Lego rule and then real numbers rule, the Lego application maneage the creativity within the borders allowed and artists have the same role 2002 , as 1905.
What go up, must go down.
