Based at Gutleut in early 1960 as an ASA member waiting to ship out to Herzo Base near Nurnberg in south Germany. I recall stories of its being a WWII kaserne where persons had been executed. Germanys would show us green troops the bullet holes in the walls. Probably not true. Frankfurt was and is a beautiful stadt. Fine memories as a "Shadow Soldier". Thanks.
