Today education system focus on social skills, group assembly and young people acturly can maneage what old Dinusaurs never thought possible. Still there is a danger aloving the client into the process as the client must chose not decide, the architect must have the skills and be able to give the client what the client need in terms of sq.feet and plain sense, ------- but with new technikes, the master architect must realise, he or she is often the amature untill they been supervised or know the promise enough to expand the vision.
Expertations is acturly like a minefield as no one know what to expect, still you are quite right, that respect, skills and visions never go off-topic.
