Hi:

Just a note to say how much I enjoyed reading your account of
the IG Farben Building in Frankfurt, Germany.

While in the US Army, I spent much time there from 1966 to 1968,
and again, many years later, from 1987 to 1988. The Army had
a large telecomm facility in the basement in the 1960s and
earlier.

I am very glad to hear that the building will be preserved
by the new owners, the University. The US Army has a bad habit
of destroying things, so it was encouraging to hear of it's
continued future surivival!

Especially love the pictures and art work of the building on
the Internet. For the entire time I was at the IG Farben Building during the 60s and 80s, it was impossible (not allowed) to
photograph it, nor were picture (souvenirs) available of the
building.

Many thanks for a nice write up!

Keep well,

Dave

Dave
