When approaching this airport by car, it seems to rise from the surrounding fields. It appears to be an almost natural part of its surroundings.
Inside the building, the extensive use of natural light is refreshing. The air inside large public buildings and airplanes often feels stale, but the natural light makes travelers feel less trapped and suffocated by hoards of people in small spaces.
It is always a pleasure to arrive in Denver, a popular vacation, and be met with such an oustanding facility. The only complaint is the low ceilings in the baggage claim area. It makes people feel as if they are underground.
