MIT is considered one of the hardest schools to get into in the States, so if you want to get into, especially as an international student, you have to be exceptional, because you are competing with US students who have a better chance because they are US citizens. Colleges don't just look for good grades. MIT and many other good colleges demand for high GPA, school rank, and SAT scores. They also look for special talents that you have and your leadership skills. I bet MIT requires you to have an art portfolio if you want to enter into the arch department.
I don't want to discourage you, because MIT is a very good school, in fact, it has the oldest arch school in america, but it's very competitive and difficult to get in. Good luck!
