This is true. I am not soley talking about AutoCAD though. I am referring to the overall drafting/3d modeling. Most of the classes I am taking, including the Studio I am currently in, require us to photograph everything. There is no drawing, no CAD practice, no learning how to use drafting tools or formatting. Nothing. This will be the same for the second studio I am in, but then I am going to graduate. What do I have to show a firm right out of college? Nothing.

This is why I plan on attending Milwaukee for graduate school. They teach a little theory but mainly technical drawing and "how to build a building."
