Good Questions.
Can you ignore the context and produce an object. There are only two types of buildings....the most successful one is that which accomplishes both. Now are you compromising one for the sake of the other...depends on how you feel about history and the sustainability of the culture..fabric buildings are understood by the esoteric....and object buildings are appreciated by the norm.
The question is a universal dilema..no correct answer..only a stature.
