Wout and Paul are right - your statement is itself the correct answer. How can you be expected to know what specific areas of a subject will be of greatest interest or relevance to you before you have studied the subject ?

Wanting to design, being interested, is what it is about. Remember that you are going to an architectural school for what they can give to you - not the other way round.
