i have started my thesis on a research academy which deals with researching the sanskrit manuscripts for today's needs.
i have a site with varied contours,an hillock, waterbodies, and a very monumental gateway for the entrance.
this place has the Vijayanagar style of architeture....as in Hampi,
in terms of the built temples...2 of them, and the mantapas.
there is a similar sanskrit academy which i visited with 4 classrooms and a prayer hall, which is in the campus of a famous temple.here the structures have a rustic gurukula look to them.also is on a hillock.
i do not know to what extent and how the tradition should be maintained in my project since it has researches going on in metallurgy, biofarming, silk worms, etc.,
i want to maintain the gurukula system amd also accomodate the needs for the technological research.
i am not able to balance all these together.
my campus has the open spaces derived from the viajyanagar style.
