here's a shot of the British Council building in Delhi.... designed by Charles Correa.....

the mural done in black and white marble on the front facade is supposed to represent a 'banyan' tree...

a banyan tree (ficus bengalensis), ofcourse, has a lot of significance in Indian culture...
