sustainable dev. includes the study of-
-vernacular architecture(locally used materials and techniques)
-organic architecture
-green/ecological architecture
-part of landscape too.
plus all the r&d going on in this field.........
and the "application part"

i didn't intend to confuse u....
but when u'll do a detailed study, then u'll realise that all these are overlapping sets and share a wide range of "personal characters"

now.....'m tellin' u all this so that u exclusively dont search for something as "sustainable architecture" and ignore the others.
it can also be put as that all mentioned types offer a solution to sustainability.

u can find a separate issue of architectural design on each of the topic mentioned above..........1998-2001.....sorry, i dont remember the months!

(i did my dissertation on org. architecture, where i traced out its development/interpretetion since the time, the word was coined and tried framing a definition, for each period while at the same time taking controversial ques. for discussion in the light of the framed definitions.)
