UNC does not have an architecture program (I'm assuming you're thinking of UNC in Chapel Hill). UNC-Charlotte offers a M.Arch. degree, however I believe the program is fairly new, and not very well known at the graduate level. North Carolina State Univ in Raleigh (down the road from UNC-Chapel Hill) offers a M.Arch. degree. The architecture program at North Carolina State Univ, which resides within the School of Design, is an outstanding program. While I am not affiliated with the school, I do live in the area, and have often heard good things about the School of Design, including the fact that is considered to be one the best design schools in the country. I have also heard very good things about UVA, although I am not very familiar with their program. I don't know much about Clemson.
