Reading on in the article... - I think you'll find Mike Crosbie is saying the NY architectural fashion crowd says that. But he goes on to suggest the building in some ways is less than first meets the eye. In other words, the opinion of the article is different from the opinion of "many of New York's architectural intelligentsia" which it also reports.

You probably haven't been able to visit the building yet, but based on all these articles and images - what do _you_ think of it?
