Absolutely, pompidou can be argued as gothic. Essentiallly there are only two camps, the goths (expression of structure -which only became a nessesity due to the shear problem of covering up the structure) and the classists. Certainly exposing the inner workings of a building is a gothic idea. But how can it be argued as a classic building as well? :)
