hai friends,
Energy conservation....is a hot matter of discussion in architectural world today. Energy crisis is an in future reality which has to be solved to the max effort of mankind. And arkitects hav a great role to play in this game.Usage of Traditional, vernacular, sustainable building materials in this machine controlled technological world wouldnt be fully possible but....still could be used in hybrid forms(i think so).

but for this the study of the past is a must(as relavant to any architectural program).each and evry country ands its dividants has their own style of construction methods, materials for construction etc.....which were ecologically good ones.......but then due to communication gaps b/w generations had lead to the decay of these resources........and other factor is that the one world did not knew about what the other world did. the exachange of knowledge which would hav done a lot of difference did not take place....

let me come to my point........i am researching for a project on traditional building materials around the world-their usage, methods of construcion using this materials, the energy factor, etc are my concerns...... pls help me out in this process.......try to prvide your contributions........my totoal work would be put up in this site for your refrences. ...pls try to provide me the information
