Hey Worried like Hell

I'm in the same situation. I finished a degree in Interior Architecture then decided I want to be an Architect. Im based in the UK nad here the course is 7yrs long. If u really cannot see yourself doing anything else with your life then go for it. You have to have passion for the subject to survive cos most likely your first job will be very boring and you won't really get to do any design.

You sound like a girl (if ur not oooops sorry), so u should know that there is still a lot of sexism in Architecture. U'll get passed by for prommotions and get paid less. So starting your own company after a bit of experience might be a good idea. But dont go into it negative coz u might be one of the lucky one who get to be the next Norman Foster or Tadao Ando.

Good luck.
