The reason that you study architecture and the reason that you will practice it one day is that you don't have a choice- it is the only thing that you are truly passionate about. The ones that are truly great as in all professions are the ones who are dedicated to their craft- not in making money per se. The best will always make money. The industry has alot of opporunity for talented people. With your skill you will be able to do many things in the construction industry (one of the most profitable industries in the world!).Further the Gugenheim was done by Gehry- the computer is a tool, an electronic pencil if you will. The design still has to come from somewhere. It is far too simplistic to think otherwise. If you don't believe it- sit in front of a computer and see if it will design something that brilliant for you. Good Luck with your courses.
