I am a senior in high school and I have been thinking of becoming an architect. I too like to design buildings for fun and show them to my friends. I even designed my future house. You do have a good piont. We, as a society, live in a world where we want things quick, easy and cheap. That's not really a bad thing but it does take its toll. Consumers of architecture want things quick, easy and cheap and that means switching to a computer. In order to make it as an architect, you need to come up with a design that all others compare themselves to. That task will be hard but the rewards are well worth the trouble.
