There are reasons that people do not include E-mail address or other identifiers: the primary one is 'SPAM' (originally a copyrighted term for a processed meat food, but adapted by a group of humorists for a movie skit of theirs, and from that implication of undesireable food, the term came to be applied to undesireable e-mail by some pundits in this country). For those not in the USA, that is a slang term for unwanted and therefore unsolicited E-mail used primarily for advertising. I don't know about you, but I get some ten or more SpamE-mails daily, none of which do I want. The problem of SPAM is becoming so bad in this country that the national government is thinking of taking big steps to stop it by registering 'spamers'and charging them for each message they send out. Right now, it costs them only about one half cent per message, and it is all generated automatically by means of OFF-SHORE computers thoght to thereby be beyond the reach of American laws. Still, if the government can somehow restrict them, I will be very happy with that.

Another reason people do not list E-mails is because of the 'crazys' out there; people who would do one harm if they could. An e-mail address could lead to such ones finding you and hurting you, or merely turning over your e-mail address to spamers so as to harrass you. For this reason, most sites nowadays do not list e-mail addresses with the names of the people who use their forums, because there are automatic robot computers which scan all forums each night to 'harvest' any e-mails found there and then put them in their memories to add to the huge spam mailing lists sent out every day to many millions of people. The spamers neither know nor care if you want their irritating advertising, and with no effective laws nor high costs to restrict them, they will continue to bombard us for the foreseeable future.
So, if you want to list your e-mail address, that is your risk, but don't expect me to join it.
