hi ronny,
my name is brian choquette. i am entering an independent study looking at the possible ways architecture can be generated by music. i am sure you are deep into your thesis now so i dont know if you will have time to reply. it seems that other students have taken on similar studies, but it is an especialy difficult study to succeed well in. i have been looking at the artist Kandiskys work and how he used music to generate "inner feelings" with which he created form and color in a pictoral medium. i think that architecture has an even better connection to music than does the visual art. when you view a painting you can experience all of that painting at once. In music as well as architecture you can never experience the whole of the work at once. i think this is one of the most important aspects of this study. if you have any time at all to reply, i am very interested in your ideas and what discoveries you have made. and also.....did you ever find the article that lebbues woods did?
thanks for your time
brian
