i did my b.tech project on this. i dont know how useful they will be as my work was mostly related to safety issues in a blind school. my project was a part of a big project in hong-kong which my guide was overseeing. prior to starting my specific work in the eighth semester i did a survey and submitted the report during seventh semester. this provided me with good deal of insight into issues related to design of a blind school. the referecnes mentioned in the report be of use to you. however, most of them are not available on the net and i used the institute's library (iit kharagpur which incidently has the largest technical library in asia) for that. if you wish i can send you the report's soft copy.
