I'm hunting for my thesis topic. I'm living in South Africa. I want to design a building that has a clear influence on culture.

I feel so do I find that critical problem that needs architectural enlightenment? Normally students design a building that relates to their hobbies and interests(eg. surf center, sport stadium), I would prefer to design that building that answers to the call of an issue.

Can you guys give me some advise as to how I can find that situation?
