Work Construction as field labor or carpenter or whatever you can experience firsthand, and learn how buildings are put together. You can volunteer for building homes with "Habitat for Humanity" and work for free, but gain the knowledge of construction before someone hires you, if you have no construction experience. See the want ads, as there are many links ot the profession that might be of interest to you also...such as landscaping laborers, or you can look for work with a Real Estate or Developers background.
