From what I've heard Cal Poly is about as good as it gets. Haha, I guess not... I'm going to a Canadian school in September to do my Masters. Not sure which one yet. American schools are ranked in the Almanac of Architecture and Design every year. I think it's Harvard, Cincinnati and Cal Poly at the top this year.

I find that the best thing to do is just cruise around all the school websites and get a feel for them. A school with a good ranking is not necessarily the right school for everybody. There's the issue of size and curricullum, but also things like computer applications. Some schools are more old-fashioned, some are very virtual and modern, some abstract and intellectual, some work-oriented. In short, there's no one answer. Do some research.

Regards, Milos.
