This image is the result of some testing I have been doing (and am still doing) on creating and rendering environments in Radiance. I had become dissatisfied with the blue-gray Radiance skies (not to say the renderings were not beautiful, but I wanted more). I wished for something akin to the EnviroDomes(tm) in DesignWorkshop.
The sailboat is straight from the DesignWorkshop 3D object libraries, and the rendering files were, of course, exported from DesignWorkshop Professional. The environment, however, was added manually, after the files had been exported. This is a somewhat advanced, and still experimental technique, but the results look promising.
