This is an aerial view of a 1-week design charrette that our architectural staff threw together. The project was a competition for a inner-city redevelopment district in Denver, Colorado. It is one of the many resurgent districts immediately adjacent to Denver's urban core. In the end, we will probably modify the skin of this building to more closely respect the late 19th century residential character of the neighborhood.

The concept was originally massed in DW by yours truly and several others contributed traditional renderings. We discussed the ideas during one afternnon and a general massing and layout was decided upon. I then took those ideas (as well as a few ideas of my own) and generated this 3D detailed massing model.

The good news is that our ability to quickly generate these results in conjunction with a spiffy little walkaround movie got us the contract. It was determined that would be better able to impress potential investors with our technological presentations.

This image and the 'spiffy' walkaround were rendered with Artlantis from Abvent which you can buy through the Artifice web site.
